Yes... We are leading off our pics with a Christmas pic. It has been THAT long since we have posted. Let us call it a Christmas break from the blog. The Priebs had a great Christmas! Christmas was full of family, friends, and of course, presents(for Gwen)!

Gwen did great opening her presents. She opened them all very 'lady like'. She would tear very small pieces of, one at a time, and hand them to the nearest adult. Quickly, we realized opening gifts was going to take hours, so we gave Gwen a little help. She really seemed to enjoy herself, and ALL of her gifts.

Surprisingly, our little one didn't do any damage to the Christmas tree. Tamie and I continually explained to Gwen that the tree is a 'pretty'. Around the Prieb house, anything that is a 'pretty' is not to be touched. Gwen quickly caught on, and would remind us that the tree is a 'pretty' non-stop.

Even after Gwen received all of her Christmas gifts and clothes, she is perfectly content with her favorite new toy; an old iphone. Gwen has mastered how to unlock the phone and open apps. It's scary and amazing at the same time to watch her scroll through photos, open and close the apps. She loves looking at all of the old baby photos of herself.

I think we can all agree, the weather so far in 2013 has been nuts. Lucky for us, we have been able to take advantage of the warm weather days. Gwen loves running around outside. She has learned how to help her dad pick up trash and put it in the trash can!

New year, new taste buds apparently. Gwen has dropped eating any kind of processed crackers. She has really taken to raisins and cranberries for snack time. Fruit cups could also be added to the list of 'likes'.

It's not all fun, games and snacks for Gwen. She has been doing great learning to pick up after herself. After Gwen finishes her snack she walks the empty wrapper over to the trash can. She often brings random items from other rooms into the living room, but after a little convincing, she returns it to it's correct spot. We're so proud of the progress she has been making the last few weeks.

Another new addition to Gwen's 'likes'... Dora the Explorer. Our DVR has quickly become overwhelmed with episodes of Dora. Lucky for us, Gwen doesn't watch any TV while at daycare, so she really doesn't beg and ask for Dora all that often. But, every once and a while, we hear 'Rora pease'(Dora please).

Lately Gwen has one more activity that she has really taken to, bubbles. She loves to watch them pop, and likes to touch them to make them pop. She is still working on how to blow to make the bubbles.
